The production is top notch, Richard's arrangements are impeccable, especially on Solitaire, Aurora/Eventide and I Can Dream. And of course, Karen sounds spectacular. Perhaps their best ballad, Solitaire, is on this album, what I consider the apex of the album/5(91).

"Horizon" is easily the Carpenters most technically advanced album musically and Karen's most alarmingly intense vocal work of her entire career. The album contains three great hits "Please Mr. Postman","Solitaire" and fan favorite "Only Yesterday". Yet there are /5().
